Each sachet treats up to 10L of Milk
Mesophilic (MW3) is a freeze dried culture, which contain special strains of Lactococcus lactis subsp. cremoris and Lactococcus lactis subsp. lactis.
This culture can be used to make Feta, Cottage Cheese, Cream Cheese, Quark, Goats Feta, Chevre Frais, Hard Cheese and more.
Each sachet contains enough culture for 4L (1 US Gal) of milk for fresh cheese and 10L (2.5 US Gal) for hard cheese.
All Mad Millie cultures contain a small amount of dairy.
These are shelf stable for 8 months out of the freezer but we recommend to store in the freezer if you can to extend their shelf life.
