Sachet of 50 Approx Campden Tablets for sterilising and stabilising Wine, Mead (and preparing apple juice for making cider).Sodium Metabisulphite >90% Prevents oxidisation and bacterial infection when bottling wine and mead.
Provides long term stability to the brew. - Use 1 tablet per 5 litres for bottling.
- Use 2 tablets per 5 litres for full stabilisation.
- For apple juice for cider making, use 2 tablets per 5 litres to kill off wild yeast and WAIT 24 hours before adding your Cider Yeast.
Crush tablets and disolve in 1 tablespoon of warm water and add to brew.
