Harris Turbofine 2 part, 24hr fast acting spirit wash finings.
Easy to use, quick to clear!
Removes yeast cells and particles that you don't want to come out in the boil.
In simple terms, when you add these sachets of Finings to your brew, they make all the floaty bits sink to the bottom leaving you with a nice clear wash.
Fast-acting spirit wash finings sufficient for up to 25 litres of spirit wash.
Instructions:
Once fermentation has completely finished, degas the spirit wash by stirring vigorously until there are no more bubbles on the surface. Then add Stage 1 finings, stir thoroughly and leave to stand for 1 hour. Then add Stage 2 finings and stir GENTLY for a maximum of 10 seconds. Leave to clear in a cool place (around 15C / 59F) for 24 hours.
The sachet can be stored at room temperature (5-30C), no need to refrigerate.
Ready-mixed. Just add to the spirit wash. Long shelf life.
Contents: Chitosan Solution, Silica Solution. Contains sulphites and crustacean products.
