Pack of 2 Still Spirits French Oak Medium Toast Infusion Spirals 20cm (8")
Made from genuine toasted oak stave wood.
Infusion spirals provide simple and fast extraction of oak aroma and flavour at a fraction of the price of a barrel.
The carved spiral shape offers the greatest surface area and achieves maximum accelerated extraction time.
Unlike oak chips, they are clean and easy to use. Easy to insert into a carboy and easy to remove when the desired flavour is reached.
Fits regular demijohns and carboys.
For Beer, Spirits and Cider: Use 1, 20cm spiral per 11L for 3-6 weeks or until designed flavour is achieved.
For Wine and Mead: Use 1, 20cm spiral per 11L - 23L for 6 weeks or until designed flavour is achieved.
Contains 1, 20cm (8") of oak stave spiral. (Although unusual, they can arrive in more than 1 piece).
Can also be soaked in water and used on a BBQ or smoker.
