Still Spirits T500 Copper Saddles 100g pack
Copper is required as a catalyst to remove sulphur odours during distillation.
These Copper Saddles are essential for high alcohol washes, typically over 16% ABV.
Add these saddles to the top of your T500 or other Distillation Column and shake firmly in place before adding Stainless Steel or Ceramic Saddles.
Pack the Stainless Steel or Ceramic Saddles in firmly to ensure your copper saddles remain at the top of the column.
Made from 100% food grade Copper.
To wash your saddles: Remove them (both stainless steel and copper, but keep them separate for ease of reassembly) from the column and soak them in vinegar. Once finished give them a thorough rinse 3 or 4 times before putting them back in the condenser.
You only have to rinse your column and saddles every 5-10 distillations.
